A GOOD THING: Edition 8
Welcome back to our weekly blog, A Good Thing.
It's been a while since we sat down and took a second to tell you what's running through our minds. Our most recent post is from before we even saw the inside of our clubhouse. Now, here we are, over a year later… ready to dive back in! If you are new to our community, welcome. We are a group of humans who believe deeply in the power of movement. Alongside that we have a deep passion for having a good time. Our physical location is in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, however, we started as a virtual community at the start of the pandemic. Our family grew fast because everyone was looking for some kind of grounding energy in the uncertainty. We still host multiple virtual classes per week and you can catch us anytime with Good Time Pilates on demand.
This blog will serve as a place for us to get a little bit more in depth about all things Good Time and your body. We use weekly themes to enhance the creativity of our staff but also deepen the experience for our students. Physical knowledge can lead to huge changes in mental health, day to day life, and general confidence. Each week, check in here to get an understanding of what ideas or goals we will be playing with in class. There are so many different kinds of learning… and sometimes reading the written out explanation can help information sink in a bit deeper!
We have just released a few new intro classes on our youtube channel. A vocab introduction about common terms and positions we use in class. As well as a “basic core” workout! If you are new to us, or Pilates in general, check these out this week!
